Pressure Cooker #3

Guess who cooked rice in their pressure cooker? I needed it quick 'cause the adobo had been cooked and all guys were hungry. Check it out -- and I didn't burn it this time! 3 minutes under pressure, maybe 1-1/2 min. to get to pressure then maybe 2 min. for natural release. I was totally impressed! Are you?

  1. Wait, wait, wait... am I seeing right? did you use BOTH pots? The smaller one for adobo, the larger one for rice? and the student surpasses the master...I am impressed grasshopper. I've always been too scared to cook rice because I was afraid of burning it. Did you pressure cook the adobo too? wow. looks delicious. what else are you going to cook? you should pressure cook jayne the chicken.

  3. why would i want to pressure cook jayne? crazy! no, i did not pressure cook the adobo. remember, when we discussed you said the cooking down might be a problem. i didn't want to risk it. no i did not use the little one to pressure cook just to use the pan which i love. sometimes the most handy camera is the little one. will use the bigger one during the holidays.

  4. You are right Ats, the smaller pot is a good cooking put. I like how it holds the heat and has those nice high sides, compared to my other saute pans. I'm going to use it more. Arborio rice is what you use for risotto. I bought it special to make risotto, but haven't yet. I don't even know what risotto taste like. Do you?
