Pressure Cooker Success!
Made some creamy mashed potatoes last night and boy was it delicious! It took 13 minutes cooking time and no burned potatoes at the bottom. I could turn down the heat to a 4 setting without losing the pressure. I continue to test the cookware out. I will have to look at the other stuff I can make now that I am not so scared of it. The great thing about our cookware is there is no spinning loose piece on the top that could shoot to the ceiling if the pressure builds up.
THANK YOU JOY! : )

Ats, you make me want to try more recipes with my pressure cooker. My ribs, seasoned with old bay seasoning and cooked under pressure for 12 minutes and natural release was so tender. I then broiled and basted in the oven. I made tender ribs in 1/2 hour.
ReplyDeleteYou know what makes me try to cook more? Julie & Julia. I really liked that movie! Now I want the cookbook. I may have to run to Chamblin's to check it out. The one downtown is even cooler! It has a coffee shop in another section of the store. When can you guys come down so we can go?
