Stuff I've been up to...
Here is a picture of my first pork rib roast. It was nerve-wracking to make because you have to take it out before it's an edible internal temperature and count on it rising 30 degrees during it's resting time.
This is a picture of the one super huge martini I drank on an empty stomach that may or may not have (yes, it definitely did) contribute to our fight later. I get cranky when I'm hungry.
Here's the wind-up...
This is a gross picture of the pork ribs I cooked in my pressure cooker. I seasoned it with an old bay rub, stuck a bay leaf in the broth, brought it up to pressure and cooked for 12 minutes. Then, I did a natural release, which is when you just turn off the stove and wait for the pressure button to come down naturally before unlocking the lid and opening. (It continues to cook during the natural release method).
I then transferred the ribs onto a baking pan and broiled and basted with bbq sauce until it looked tasty. It was a huge hit. I know I can make bbq ribs INSIDE in less than 30 minutes! I wanted to take pictures of the whole process, but got too hungry.

Yumm, Joy! It looks great and now I am hungry! Will have to try ribs next!
ReplyDeleteif you make the ribs, don't forget to line the baking sheet and spray it before you broil the ribs. the bbq sauce can get quite messy. good eating, joy
