Definitely Dead-charlaine harris

i read two books yesterday. i love reading the "sookie series". i don't know if watching the show helps or hinders my reads, as i now picture the show characters in my head as i read the book. (i don't think they picked a very good pam for example, and the tara on the show doesn't seem to fit the tara from this particular book). that said, I could not put this book down. i had to use my timer and read in 15 minute increments so i could get my chores done. the book was pretty strong until the very end where it seemed to fizzle a bit in the story lines.  i wasn't completely satisfied with the queen and king party summary nor the relationship with the were-tiger. what did you guys think? 7 1/2 out of 10 or 8 out of 10 from me.

  1. my favorite one is the one with eric when he lost his memory. i think i also liked this one if it is the one about quinn. when i watched the series i kept thinking the characters are definitely not cast correctly - especially eric. then when season 2 started eric got a lot better looking. have you 2 watched any of these yet? also, the jessica story line was thrown in there - i like the character in the show but disappointed that they did not follow book.

  3. i like the next one too - all together dead - when sookie helps at the vampire convention thing. i agree - the casting is all wrong
