Firefly Lane, kristin hannah

i think i cried my way through the last half of this book. it was a good cry though. i don't know what ice-queen jayne did since she "says" she never cries. it was a good relationship book throughout, all the relationships were played out really well with all the characters. it got a little too much like the movie "beaches" at the end, but was a satisfying read. i could even imagine myself even reading it again, which i rarely do. two thumbs up.

  2. Wow - you have been reading up a storm joy! thanks to jayne you are keeping up with the books that i want to read. i just read a book that you will probably like. it's a light fluff type of book that i almost spent $3.47 on at books-a-million (since it was 75% off) but i stomped on that impulse and wrote down the books and checked them out. the book is called the penny pinchers club by sarah strohmeyer. it reads like a sophie kinsella book - let me know what you think.
